NEW DELHI - Yamaha India resmi sudah meluncurkan New YZF R15 Version 2.0. Di kelasnya motor sport full fairing ini akan langsung head to head dengan CBR150R.


Ditawarkan di Negeri Sari itu dengan harga sekitar Rp19,8 juta, R15 Version 2.0 menampilkan perubahan desain yang cukup signifikan dibanding generasi sebelumnya.


Meski bentuk headlamp masih serupa pendahulunya, namun desain fairing dan buritan hadir lebih sporty. Apalagi kesan motor balap nan futuristik makin kental berkat penggunaan rear lamp jenis LED.


Yamaha juga merombak desain jok split dari R15 Version 2.0 ini, pun juga bentuk knalpot. Namuninstrument cluster motor yang lebih berat 5 Kg dari versi lawasnya itu masih serupa R15 terdahulu.


Untuk kaki-kakinya, R15 Version 2.0 menggunakan aluminium swingarm pada suspensi belakang. Ini merupakan kali pertama yang diterapkan Yamaha India. Sedangkan untuk suspensi depan masih serupa dengan R15 sebelumnya.


Suspensi itu dipercaya masih mumpuni mengapit velg 5-spoke R17 yang dibalut ban 130/70 pada bagian belakang. Sementara urusan piranti keamanan dipasang rem cakram ganda pada ban depan serta belakang.


Dari sisi mesin, R15 Version 2.0 tetap mengusung jeroan berkapasitas silinder 149,8 SOHC 4-tak bertenaga 17 PS pada 8.500 rpm dengan torsi puncak 15 Nm di 7.500 rpm.
